Israel is a wonderful place for seniors, but the move can be complex, and a successful transition requires careful planning. Our team has over 10 years of collective experience helping senior Olim and Toshavim Chozrim (Returning Residents) settle into their new homes in Israel.

Here’s how we help facilitate a smooth transition:

Before arrival in Israel

We walk you through the cost of living as a senior in Israel, including costs of care, potential subsidies, and costs of different living arrangements in your preferred locations.
We review with you current health, life and long-term care insurance policies to understand their applicability in Israel.
We guide you with obtaining relevant medical summaries and review with you current medications, with an eye towards setting up medical care and coordinating prescriptions in Israel.
We guide you through the various hoops of the Aliyah process, interfacing with Nefesh B’Nefesh, the Jewish Agency and additional relevant agencies.
We will help you find and set up the right living arrangement, be it a home in the community, diyur moogan (sheltered living) or bet avot (nursing home), including in person or virtual tours, asking the right questions and clarifying costs to help you make informed decisions.

After arrival in Israel

We help with registering as an Oleh Chadash or Toshav Chozer (returning resident) with the appropriate government agencies, including establishing access to online portals, submitting documents and tracking status.
We help set up your loved one’s new home for maximum safety, including a basic home safety assessment, coordinating adaptations, securing equipment and technologies, and enrolling in an emergency alert system.
We guide you through selecting a "Kuppat Cholim" (healthcare service), establishing care with a family doctor in your community, and refer you to specialists. We will also help you set up online access to your Kuppah, obtain prescription medications, and acquire specialized medical equipment and supplies.
We guide you through the caregiving system in Israel, including obtaining necessary permits, applying for long-term care subsidies (Bituach Leumi), hiring a part-time or live-in (foreign) caregiver, and understanding your employer obligations.
We will help you open a bank account in Israel, walk you through the various legal documents that you will need for planning for aging in Israel, and make referrals to qualified attorneys for executing documents such as a will, advanced directives and ongoing power of attorney.
We guide you through the various benefits and entitlements that may be available to you as a senior in Israel, and help you apply for relevant ones, including subsidies for long-term care, residential care, medical equipment and supplies, utilities and tax discounts, and more!
We provide referrals for community-based activities and support, including intellectual, social and volunteer opportunities.
We provide sensitive and compassionate assistance with coordinating hospice care, spiritual counseling, and burial arrangements.
